Team Building!

This past weekend, our superb team gathered in Sun Peaks for a much-needed retreat. Our core group of full-time staff members spent the weekend recharging, enjoying each other’s company in a non-work setting, and reflecting on the whirlwind that’s been the last couple of years.

“It’s our team that puts the ‘fine’ in Copper Island Fine Homes,” explains President and CEO Marcus Picton. “We really appreciate how hard everyone has worked to cope with the additional challenges we’ve faced over the last couple of years—from staying safe on the job site during a pandemic, to coming up with innovative and creative ways to maintain timelines and quality during the numerous supply chain issues we’ve faced. We simply couldn’t have sustained our excellence and reputation as the Shuswap’s leading homebuilding during this time without such a great team. We rely on every person and the vital role they play.”

This is Copper Island Fine Home’s first major team building exercise since Marcus and his wife Sylvia purchased the company.

“We definitely wanted our team to know they are all greatly appreciated!” adds Sylvia. “It was an amazing weekend that allowed all of us to celebrate our many collective successes, and look forward to more many more years of building our clients’ Shuswap dream homes.”
