In Eagle Bay, one of our most ambitious renovations to date is going exceptionally well after more than a year of work that’s included major structural changes throughout.
Currently, we’re working hard on the exterior finishing. As you can see in the photos above, the new stucco is complete, and the masonry work is well underway. Note the rock being installed at the front of home–it’s been sourced all the way from California. Master mason Marcus Buhrig from Sorrento-based Marcus Masonry has been having fun working with this beautiful new product, and his work speaks for itself.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll be continuing work on the outside with installation of metal siding and gutters.
Inside, we’re picking up the pace as well. Hardwood flooring has been installed, as have the kitchen cabinets in the home’s two kitchens. Granite countertops are also being installed in the kitchens and bathroom vanities, and in the showers. Tile installation will continue shortly. In October, micro cement, polished stucco, lighting, plumbing and all other finishings are scheduled to be installed.
Our goal is to be completely finished in December, so that our patient clients can enjoy their totally-refurbished new home in time for Christmas.
