Stamp of Approval

When we need decorative concrete finishing — and our clients are demanding it more and more these days — we turn to B & D Concrete Stamping of Celista.

Owners Brian and Deann MacDuff brought their family business from the Lower Mainland to the North Shuswap in 2006. Deann’s family has been in the concrete business for more than eight decades, and her and Brian (who has been placing concrete since 1982 and is a certified concrete technician), along with their sons, are proudly carrying on the tradition here in the Shuswap. While they’re comfortable placing and finishing almost any type of concrete, their specialty is stamped concrete (as their company name suggests). They are exceptional tradespeople, and when we subcontract them to install a decorative deck, driveway or patio, we know that we’ll be getting the very best quality.

Stamped concrete has emerged to be more far more long-standing and durable than flagstone, pavers and wood. Not only that, the results are stunningly beautiful. Colour schemes for stamped concrete are often selected to blend with other architectural elements of the home or the natural surroundings.

Below you can see just how impressive their work is. The photos are of the stamped concrete placed this past week at one of our current new home projects, a stunning lakefront rancher in Scotch Creek.
