One building trend that’s reemerging is high-end ceiling finishes. Case in point: a fire rebuild in Celista that we’re getting closer to the finish line with. Our clients wanted the warmth of wood in the vaulted sections of their new home, and so Chuck Beaton, our own masterful finishing carpenter, has been hard at work installing the beautiful stained pine tongue-and-groove ceiling that you see in the photos above.
Note the many nooks details in this stunning vaulted ceiling. Needless to say, Chuck had his fair share of challenges with many different angles he had to contend with. But as we’ve come to expect from him, Chuck’s work is flawless. Next up, he’ll also be installing the same material on the master bedroom vaulted ceiling, as well as the ceiling on the deck to give the illusion of continuous flow from the inside ceiling to the outside.
Meanwhile, we’re hard at work finishing other areas of this beautiful home. Our painters are on site with their finishing touches, and in the next few weeks, the cabinets and counters will be getting installed, along with the tile and hardwood floors.
We are aiming to have these clients back in their home by the end of May. Stay tuned for more photos and updates.
