Retreating in Revelstoke
Every hardworking, successful team needs to step back once in a while to celebrate accomplishments — and plan for the future. That’s exactly what our core team did last weekend, at the Basecamp Resort on the north edge of Revelstoke.
We got the ball rolling Friday night, sitting outside in the fresh mountain air to recount funny stories and just have fun. On Saturday, we had a great breakfast together, spent some time around town, and then had a blast at Peak Axe Throwing. That was followed by a wonderful Saturday dinner. On Sunday, everyone had the opportunity to explore the area and do whatever they wanted before heading home.
“It was a fantastic time, and one where everyone had fun together and relaxed,” says Marcus Picton, Copper Island owner and CEO. “Sylvia and I are so thankful to have a great team we can trust and rely on to do their job and keep up the Copper Island Fine Homes standards. We’re also thankful that everyone takes their jobs seriously. An event like this gives us great pleasure to see everyone relaxing and having a good time. We’re proud of what everyone has achieved, and we know how important each person is to our overall success.”
