In Magna Bay, we’ve been working hard to complete a beautiful renovation in time for the owner to enjoy it by the Canada Day weekend. Last week, we finished the job ahead of schedule, and on Friday, we handed the keys to the finished project back to our client, who couldn’t be happier.
The existing 1970s home was cramped and, to be honest, not much more than recreational summer cabin. The lakefront location is perfect for our client, but there was a clear need for more space inside and out, as well as some modern finishes.
As you can see in the before-and-after photos above, there’s a now a dramatic difference in the upper living area. The photos on the top row give you a sense of how cramped it originally was. The two photos below are of the finished product: a more open layout, a larger open concept living room, and greater outdoor living space. Note the huge folding/sliding door system and much larger deck, which offer a great entertainment space for family and friends.
