This week, we handed off the keys to yet another fine home in Celista.
This project was a complete rebuild of a home demolished by the 2023 wildfire on the North Shore. There were many challenges — for example, the home had to be rebuilt on the exact same footprint as the original structure, and the site’s steep slope and limited road access made for additional difficulties.
Regardless, we pulled out all the stops in the past month to finish the project a full month and half ahead of schedule. While we have a few details to complete in the week ahead, such as the fireplace mantel and the bar’s floating shelf, the owners are ecstatic to finally be back home in time for the May long weekend.
Not surprisingly, the home features many firesmart upgrades, including Allura concrete siding, a metal roof, and metal soffits.
Our clients are going to slowly move in and take their time furnishing their brand new summer home. They want to spend some time in the space and carefully consider what they need and want to bring back in.
