Next week, we’ll be kicking off demolition of an older, original lakefront home in Scotch Creek, paving the way for us to build a brand new dream home for the owners.
The large rendering above gives you a sense of how this stunning new home will look on the exterior when it’s finished next year. The small photo at the lower left is of the existing home, which we’ll be tearing down. The reminder of the images are interior renderings completed by the project designer.
As you can see, there will be a lot of custom details and finishes in the spacious new home, which will offer more than 4,000 square feet of luxurious living space. Our clients, who are currently located in Calgary but planning to move to the Shuswap full-time, are opting for a classic, traditional approach while maintaining that inviting and cozy lakefront feel. The home will feature a three-season room, a huge open kitchen/dining/living area with bar, a custom theatre room, and much more.
This is actually the second phase of this project for Copper Island Fine Homes. Earlier this year, we completed a beautiful boat garage, complete with the living area above, on the property. Our clients will use their boat garage suite during trips to check in with the construction progress, and after the new home is completed, it will offer excellent and private accommodations for family and friends who visit.
