Over on the North Shore in Ta’Lana Bay, we’re deep into the framing of a brand new custom home. The small original home on this lake shore property was lost in the 2023 wildfires. Our clients purchased the lot and set their sights on building something larger and more modern.
Ta’Lana Bay is a premium 51-property strata community, and this impressive new home will fit right in. It will boast almost 5,000 square feet of living space on two levels, as well as a 680 square foot oversize garage.
Above you can see our framing progress to date. Roof sheeting is scheduled to be completed this coming week, and roofing will take place immediately following that. Additionally, you can see the conceptual drawing of the completed home — that’s the side that will face the lakeshore.
As with many of our custom projects, the home was designed by Coldstream-based Meyer Design. And like the majority of our new construction projects, it will feature many firesmart features. Look for more details as we move this project along through the stages of construction.
