Over the years, we’ve undertaken some really ambitious whole home renovations. But our most challenging reno to date might just be our current project in Eagle Bay. It’s huge — it started in 2024 with extensive structural changes to open up the interior space. Our scope of work includes two kitchens, six bathrooms, four custom showers, custom metal staircases, a hidden audio system, and so much more.
We’re moving ever closer to our anticipated completion in December of this year. On the exterior, we’re well underway with the soffit and stucco, both being done by Kelowna’s Avalanche Exteriors. The metal roof was completed by Skycrew Sheet Metal, also from Kelowna. Blind Bay’s Marcus Masonry is getting prepped to do his rock work. Vision Overhead Doors installed beautiful blackout garage doors for us yesterday, which you can see in the photos above.
Inside, the interior doors and casing have been installed. Our painters have been hard at work getting everything sprayed and rolling out two coats on the completed drywall.
Next week, tile will start in the bathrooms. Our tile installer will also be doing waterproofing for a large amount of polished stucco and micro cement work that will begin late this summer. And custom cabinets for both kitchens and all bathrooms are currently being built and are scheduled to be installed in the next week or so.
Needless to say, it’s shaping up beautifully, and the finished project will be stunning!
