We’re known for building large houses. But a large house isn’t everybody’s idea of a Shuswap dream home. And we’re happy to build anyone’s dream!
Case in point: a new 725 square foot rancher on the North Shuswap for a client from Kamloops who wants to simplify her retirement.
The photos above show the progress we’ve made on this small but beautiful home. The framing has been largely completed, and the next step will be installing a metal roof — ideal given the threat of wildfires that are our new reality. And just like a rolling stone, moss doesn’t grow on a metal roof.
The photos also reveal the large patio doors and windows that offer incredible lake views, along with the spacious wraparound veranda that offers extra three season living space. Inside, the home will feature a vaulted ceiling which will add to the feeling of spaciousness despite the small footprint.
