One of our biggest renovation projects — maybe our biggest ever — is on schedule to be wrapped up and presented to the owners by the holiday season.
We’ve been working on this massive and extensive whole home renovation in Eagle Bay for two years. After substantial structural changes, we’ve moved into the home stretch with finishing front and center.
One of our most trusted kitchen subcontractors, Renaissance Joinery & Millwork from Salmon Arm, has been putting in the hours as you can see from the images above. This kitchen, which is one of two in this home, is being completed with white oak cabinetry, and everything will be grain-matched. The Taj Mahal quartzite countertops that you see are being supplied and installed by Salmon Arm’s Colonial Countertops. Note the two islands, one with a waterfall on both sides.
Marcus Masonry out of Sorrento has installed the rock you see on the open stairwell. Enns Woodworking has been installed railing posts and are currently building the treads to be installed on the single stringers.
Starting next week, an innovative company out of Vancouver called Polished Stucco is coming to apply their specialized product to many of the interior walls as well as showers.
Electrical and plumbing completion will start mid November. We’ll bring you more photos of this superb project over the next couple of months.
