Beauty and the Beam
This week, we’re pleased to offer you some interior glimpses of our recently completed project on the North Shore.
Every project we do here at Copper Island Fine Homes is unique and special. But every once in a while, we get to sink our teeth into a truly exceptional new build that challenges our skills and creativity – and offers an incredibly rewarding sense of satisfaction when we get to the finish line. This was certainly the case with this home, built for clients originally from Alberta who really wanted to be active participants in the design and build process.
The finished product, which we only recently handed over, is magnificent – so much so, in fact, that we’re entering it into the Keystone Awards, the yearly competition held by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (Kamloops Division).
Once some final finishing details have been completed, we’ll be having the home professionally photographed for the competition. But in the interim, CIFH owner and CEO Marcus Picton shot the above photos so we could pass them along on our website.
In the photo on the left above, you can get a sense of the drama created in the soaring living room space, with its floor-to-ceiling natural stone fireplace, architectural beams, and floor-to-ceiling glass which provides outstanding views to the Shuswap Lake. The top right photo includes the gorgeous kitchen in the foreground, with the living room in the background – take note of the beautiful cast concrete light fixtures over the expansive island. And in the bottom right photo, check out the incredible views on offer from the master bedroom, along with another natural stone fireplace and more gorgeous architectural beam work.
Our clients couldn’t be happier with our work on this project, and we’re extremely grateful to them for allowing us to take these photographs!
