In Celista, we’re wrapping up the custom exterior of a 2,300 square-foot, one-level new home, being built for clients from Vancouver.
Recently, as you can see in the photo above, we completed the fibre cement exterior siding with James Hardie Timberbark. The black Smart Trim window surrounds and black gutters give this exterior a timeless look. Next up is the completing the stone facades around the three posts supporting the covered patio.
Not only is this an extremely durable and beautiful exterior finish, it’s also the right choice in terms of fire protection — combined with the fiberglass shingled roof, the Hardieplank product is an excellent fire smart choice.
Inside, final finishing is also well underway. Outstanding interior features include a 14-foot vaulted ceiling in the living room ceiling, complete with wood beams, a custom wine storage space, a large woodburning fireplace, eight-foot-wide patio doors, his and hers walk-in closets, and a curbless shower in the ensuite.
We’re on schedule to have our clients in their new Shuswap dream home in time to enjoy the summer.
