My husband and I interviewed a number of builders before choosing Copper Island Fine Homes. We were going to be away for the first six months of the project and were concerned about communication between ourselves and Copper Island. Greg assured us that his company had completed many builds where the clients were not local. Copper Island Fine Homes took over all pre-construction processes, i.e., obtaining permits; arranging for surveys and various riparian and water studies that are necessary when you live on the lake. We’re extremely excited and happy with the just-completed renovation of our North Shuswap home by Copper Island Fine Homes. The craftsmanship and professionalism of all the Copper Island Fine Homes team was fantastic. Project Managers Dean Friesen and his daughter, Heidi, were wonderful to work with, as were Melody and Kathy in the administrative office. We are familiar with renovations and construction ourselves, operating a log cabin resort in Jasper, AB, and were very happy that Copper Island’s team were relatable and easy to discuss the details of our renovation with. They implemented and crafted many of our ideas, so the finished project was well-constructed with excellent workmanship and a high quality of detail. Living five hours away, we were not able to be onsite often, but we received many pictures and communicated often through phone or emails, so we were confident with the progress and supervision of the sub trades by Copper Island.
