The Highlands subdivision of Shuswap Lake Estates offers magnificent views of Copper Island and the Shuswap Lake, not to mention excellent access to golf and other recreational opportunities. This combination certainly convinced one our recent set of clients, who hail from the Lower Mainland, to purchase a beautiful view lot in the subdivision.
Since August, we've been working steadily on their custom-designed home in order to bring it to lock-up stage before winter arrives.
The walk-out basement home features approximately 3,000 square feet of living space, along with a three-car garage. Two oversized decks offer plenty of outdoor living space and captivating views.
Framing has been completed, and windows installed. The top rear deck has been prepped and is ready for Duradek installation. Fireplaces have been ordered and scheduled for install. Mechanical installs (HVAC and plumbing) are also well underway, and following completion, the house will be wrapped and prepared for exterior finishing in HardiPlank and stone. Soffits and gutters are in the process of being installed, and inside, cabinet layouts have been prepared.
Being completed to lockout allows our interior finishing crews—drywall, painting, finish carpentry, and flooring—to have the luxury of finishing their work in a warm and dry environment. Delivery is schedule for mid-spring.
